The festival lasts for a week and has all sorts of events throughout the city. There are plays, readings, tours, dancing lessons, markets, lunches, dueling classes and even a masked ball to close the festival. I wish we could have participated more but since we brought Willow with us to Bath, we were only able to see the market and I got to peek into a dance class. The best part about attending the festival is seeing all the men and women dressed up in Jane Austen-era clothing. The dresses and hats were stunning! I had a bit of costume envy.
Here are some pictures from the festival I was able to snap this past Saturday.
